Welcome to Melton Monkeys, a Play and Stay Group at the Penman Spicer Hall. Our aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment for your children to enjoy whilst they play.

The Play and Stay Group is designed for you to pay for the session, and stay as long as you like whilst your child enjoys the toys and activities on offer. Tea and coffee making facilities are available, with squash, biscuits and fresh fruit for the little ones too. There is an honesty box to provide for these refreshments, and we have a dining and  picnic area for you to bring along your own lunches, complete with highchairs.  

The purpose of Melton Monkeys is to provide the community with a space for parents to meet and make new friends, but also for your child to do the same. There are a variety of different types of  play  around the room, and on the first Tuesday of every month we will aim to provide an activity that s a little bit different to the norm..

The cost is £3.00 per child, and £2.50 for each additional child. Childminders will pay the discounted £2.50 per child. We will run EVERY TUESDAY, regardless of Half Terms, Summer holidays and the like.  

Changing facilities and toilets can be found at the back
